Founded in 2017, Solana Foods has developed expertise in processing seven perishable food
products-such as tomatoes, onions, garlic, ginger, and turmeric-into powdered form. Through
extensive research, Solana has optimized production techniques and established partnerships
with both local research institutions and international processing manufacturers. These
products enjoy sustained market demand, with high customer satisfaction and repeat orders.
Currently, Solana operates with equipment like dehydrators, an attrition mill, industrial
blenders, and a power generator. Despite their processing machines, which yield about 150
kg monthly (sufficient for one Abuja supermarket), Solana's growth strategy aims to scale
production to 2,000 kg monthly to meet a wider market demand across cities like Lagos, Aba,
and Port Harcourt.
